We just got Judy’s new book in and you will love the story of the redo of their 1825 center chimney cape house in Massachusetts. There’s lots of photos and over 20 pages of the story of the move from VA back home to New England.

A Primitive Place - Spring 2012

The new Our State magazine is here and a copy of the cover is below. We also have lots of other new merchandise and some of the photos are posted below. There’s new primitive furniture, woven kitchen items, berry picks, signs and more. In the next week we are expecting more linens, Billy Jacob prints, lamps, lanterns, magazines and other new items. Judy Condon’s new book should be here in the next two days and I will be sure to post new photos as the new things arrive.

I’m back from the Southern Christmas Show in Charlotte …. it was a great show and we want to thank everyone that stopped by the booth. While I was gone several new magazines came in. Other new items have come in and more will be here in the next few days. We hope you get to visit soon and see all of the great holiday items we have for your gift giving and decorating. Thanks for a great year and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

We have some new fall merchandise including Bittersweet, Sweet Annie, Dried Flowers and lots of gourds.

This Saturday, we will be at the Brushy Mountain Apple Festival in North Wilkesboro. The weather is suppose to be nice and cool for the show. I hope you get to attend. The shop in Shelby will be open on Saturday so if you are in town, please stop by.

Saturday will be our Fall Open House and we have lots of great Halloween and Fall merchandise. The shop is full but we expect more things to come in before Saturday. We hope you get to come by and enjoy the refreshments, specials and fun! Other shops in the area will be having their Open House this coming Saturday and the next weekend so make plans to have lots of fun shopping during the next two weeks.

On another note, we received the Christmas issue of Country Sampler today and it’s full of holiday ideas, gingerbread, candy canes, santas and snowmen. There’s also some great primitive homes featured in this issue.
